Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on every shift
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Perform thorough assessments and monitor patients for changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and follow care plans
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses clearly in the EHR
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications and discharge instructions
• Respond promptly to clinical emergencies and escalate concerns appropriately

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina (LPN candidates may be considered per job class)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS as required by unit preferred
• Completion of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN for RN; LPN diploma/certificate for LPN)
• Prior acute care or med-surg experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment skills and solid medication administration experience
• Ability to pass facility onboarding and background checks

Education

• ADN or BSN for Registered Nurse; LPN diploma or certificate for Licensed Practical Nurse
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in medication administration and IV therapy
• Skilled at patient assessment and care planning
• Comfortable using electronic health records for documentation
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
