Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care and assist residents with activities of daily living
• Take and document vital signs accurately to support clinical decisions
• Assist nursing team with safe transfers, positioning, and mobility
• Maintain clear, timely charting and communicate resident changes to the care team
• Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, respectful environment
• Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication

Qualifications

• Current LNA certification (Licensed Nursing Assistant) valid for practice in the assigned state
• T-LNA or travel LNA credentials where applicable
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Clear background check and up-to-date health screenings per facility requirements
• Prior experience in long term care or skilled nursing preferred but caring attitude and strong work ethic are essential

Education

• Completion of an approved LNA program or equivalent and high school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with ADLs including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• Skilled at taking and recording vital signs and observing resident condition
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Good documentation habits and basic electronic charting familiarity
• Ability to follow care plans, infection control protocols, and safety procedures
