Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, grooming, bathing, and toileting needs
• Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition promptly
• Support safe, clean, and respectful living environments for residents
• Collaborate with nursing team to implement individualized care plans
• Communicate clearly and courteously with residents, families, and staff

Qualifications

• Active LNA certification (VT or NH) — must be valid for the assignment
• Recent experience as a nursing assistant or similar resident-care role preferred
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility immunization requirements
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Current CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completed state-approved LNA training program and current LNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Basic clinical observation and documentation skills
• Infection prevention and control practices
• Ability to follow care plans and physician/nurse directions
• Compassionate interpersonal skills and respect for resident dignity
