Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess communication and swallowing disorders using evidence-based evaluation methods
- Develop personalized treatment plans that help patients make meaningful progress
- Deliver hands-on and functional therapy to improve patient communication and safety
- Document clinical findings and progress clearly and timely in the medical record
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient-centered care
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers to support carryover of therapy goals
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure safe and effective transitions
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts license to practice Speech Language Pathology (required)
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (typical requirement for SLP roles)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred when available
- Comfortable providing care across all days of the week as needed for the assignment
- Professional, compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
- Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements and background checks
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent clinical graduate degree
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing assessment
- Experience with individualized treatment planning and measurable goal setting
- Familiarity with documentation in electronic health records
- Strong interdisciplinary communication and teamwork skills
- Time management and caseload prioritization to meet patient needs
- Ability to educate and motivate patients and families for best outcomes
