Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality physical therapy evaluation and individualized treatment plans that help patients regain function
• Deliver hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities based on patient needs
• Document patient progress and outcomes accurately and timely in the medical record
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and rehab team members to coordinate care and optimize discharge planning
• Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and strategies to maintain gains
• Monitor and adapt treatment based on patient response and best-practice guidelines
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, regulatory standards, and documentation requirements

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Physical Therapist for the assignment in Massachusetts
• Current clinical experience in physical therapy and comfort with evaluating a diverse patient population
• Available to start on 2025-12-15 and commit to the 13-week assignment ending 2026-03-14
• Ability to work scheduled days including weekends as required by the facility
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively in an interdisciplinary setting

Education

• Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or equivalent preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in physical therapy evaluation, treatment planning, and therapeutic exercise
• Proficient in patient-centered documentation and outcome tracking
• Ability to instruct patients and caregivers in safe home exercise programs
• Comfortable collaborating with healthcare teams to support patient recovery goals
