Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients' functional abilities and develop individualized occupational therapy plans
• Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions to improve independence in daily activities
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and set meaningful goals
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and discharge recommendations accurately and promptly
• Educate patients and families on adaptive strategies, safety, and home modifications
• Recommend and train on adaptive equipment and assistive technology to maximize outcomes

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
• NBCOT certification preferred or in progress
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
• Clinical experience in adult rehabilitation or similar settings is a plus; new graduates with strong clinical preparation are welcome to apply
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Education

• Master's degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD/MS) or equivalent entry-level OT degree

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in functional and cognitive assessments
• Strong treatment planning and goal-setting abilities
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment and home modification recommendations
• Proficient documentation and charting practices
• Patient-centered care approach and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize caseload and manage time efficiently
