Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate patient care as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and any changes in condition
- Collaborate closely with nursing staff to ensure safe, person-centered care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control and DHS requirements
- Communicate clearly and courteously with residents, families, and team members
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Active Delaware business license required to staff in DE
- Active DHS account required
- Comfort working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift
- Reliable clinical skills, strong communication, and a patient-first attitude
- Facility may require additional credentials (for example BLS) — be prepared to provide them
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in safe resident handling and basic patient care tasks
- Strong documentation and charting habits
- Able to recognize and report changes in patient condition
- Team-focused with good interpersonal and time-management skills
- Familiarity with long-term care and rehab environments is a plus
