Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
- Take and accurately record vital signs and other clinical observations
- Assist the nursing team with safe patient transfers and mobility support
- Document care clearly and communicate changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and adhere to infection control practices
- Build trusting relationships with patients and families to support person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (required)
- Ability to work the 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM day shift
- Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus
- Active CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Clear background check and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic patient hygiene
- Proficient in taking and reporting vital signs
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Strong communication and teamwork in a clinical environment
- Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
- Good time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
