Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the overnight shift
• Perform thorough assessments and document patient status accurately and promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and transitions
• Respond effectively to urgent patient needs and escalate concerns when required
• Support admission, discharge, and transfer processes with attention to detail

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential in good standing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications welcomed
• Previous acute care or long-term care nursing experience preferred; travel nursing experience a plus
• Ability to work independently on night shifts and communicate clearly with the care team
• Reliable, professional, and patient-focused approach to clinical care

Education

• LPN: Completed accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficient medication administration and documentation practices
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and standard clinical charting
• Good time management and ability to prioritize during busy night shifts
• Effective communication and teamwork across disciplines
