Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing evaluations
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that help patients reach meaningful goals
• Deliver skilled therapy sessions using clinical best practices and measurable outcomes
• Document progress accurately and timely in the medical record to support continuity of care
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and family to coordinate holistic, patient-centered care
• Participate in team meetings and discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• State of New Hampshire SLP license required or ability to obtain prior to start
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred or active state certification
• Comfortable with evaluations, treatment planning, and documentation in a rehab/contract setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; professional and reliable presence on site

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required); ASHA certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in speech, language, cognition, and dysphagia assessment and intervention
• Proficient with documentation standards and clinical outcome measurement
• Ability to modify therapy for diverse ages and diagnoses
• Good clinical judgment, time management, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Familiarity with adaptive equipment, compensatory strategies, and family education
