Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients to identify functional needs and set meaningful goals
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that improve independence
- Provide skilled therapeutic interventions using evidence-based techniques
- Document patient progress thoroughly and communicate updates with the care team
- Collaborate with nurses, PTs, SLPs and physicians to deliver coordinated care
- Educate patients and families on adaptive strategies, equipment and home safety
- Recommend and train on adaptive equipment, splints and environmental modifications
- Contribute to a positive, person-centered culture that supports recovery and dignity
Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapist license in Vermont or eligible for state licensure
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong clinical skills in assessments, treatment planning and adaptive equipment
- Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude
- COTA candidates may be considered for the assistant role; please indicate certification
Education
- Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor’s, Master’s or OTD as applicable)
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in standardized assessments and functional evaluations
- Skilled in treatment planning, adaptive techniques and activity analysis
- Comfortable with documentation in electronic medical records
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines and advocate for patients
- Good problem-solving, time management and patient education skills
