Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional mobility and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve strength, balance, and independence
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient-centered care
• Document progress and outcomes clearly and promptly to support continuity of care
• Educate patients and families on exercise programs, safety, and home strategies
• Adapt treatments to meet the needs of a diverse inpatient population and changing caseloads

Qualifications

• Current Washington State Physical Therapist license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications a plus
• Previous experience in inpatient rehab, acute care, or outpatient settings preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning, documentation skills, and teamwork mindset
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master’s in Physical Therapy or related degree considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assessment and development of individualized PT treatment plans
• Familiarity with therapeutic modalities, gait training, and mobility aids
• Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Proficient documentation and outcome tracking to demonstrate patient progress
• Ability to prioritize caseload and adapt to an evolving clinical environment
• Comfortable supervising aides and collaborating with OT/SLP/nursing staff
