Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Perform admission and ongoing clinical assessments and document findings clearly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and update care plans
• Advocate for residents' needs and support their physical and emotional well-being
• Monitor changes in condition and escalate concerns to RNs and providers promptly
• Maintain infection control practices and a safe, clean environment for residents

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in New Mexico (or compact licensure where applicable)
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Travel LPN experience preferred but new travel clinicians with strong LPN backgrounds are welcome
• Ability to work scheduled night shifts (Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and wound care best practices
• Resident assessment, charting, and care plan implementation
• Familiarity with long-term care and skilled nursing workflows
• Time management and prioritization during 12+ hour shifts
• Compassionate patient-centered care and strong interpersonal skills
