Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and gait training
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans to achieve meaningful functional outcomes
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other rehab staff to coordinate patient-centered care
• Document care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and safe mobility
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, solution-focused workplace culture

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in California or eligibility to obtain one prior to start
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification — or willingness to obtain before starting
• Previous experience in physical therapy settings such as outpatient, inpatient rehab, or skilled nursing is preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning, patient communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and adapt to varied caseloads

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in musculoskeletal and functional assessment
• Proficient with therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, and gait training
• Comfortable with assistive devices, transfers, and mobility aids
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with EMR systems
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to prioritize caseload and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
