Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based therapy for communication, cognition, and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate with nursing, PT/OT, and medical teams to coordinate patient-centered care
- Document progress and outcomes thoroughly to support continuity of care
- Educate patients and families to promote functional communication and safe swallowing
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discharge planning and care transitions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Massachusetts state license to practice SLP (required) and ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
- Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification as required by facility
- Experience in adult rehabilitation, dysphagia management, or post-acute care preferred
- Strong documentation and interdisciplinary communication skills
- Willingness to split time between North Adams and Williamstown as noted
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in dysphagia assessment and treatment
- Experience with cognitive-communication assessments and therapy
- Familiarity with evidence-based therapy approaches and outcome measurement
- Comfortable with electronic medical records and clear clinical documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills for family and team education
