Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote patient mobility and independence
• Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and other therapists to coordinate comprehensive care
• Document patient assessments, treatment progress, and discharge plans accurately in the medical record
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe mobility strategies
• Participate in team huddles and contribute to a positive, patient-centered clinic culture

Qualifications

• Active Washington Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain state licensure
• Graduate degree from an accredited physical therapy program preferred (DPT preferred)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Prior experience in rehabilitation, outpatient, or similar settings preferred
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; graduation from an accredited PT program required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, and balance interventions
• Experience with assistive devices and durable medical equipment recommendations
• Skilled clinical documentation and familiarity with electronic medical records
• Ability to assess functional mobility and develop measurable goals
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient education and teamwork
