Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote patient mobility and independence
- Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and other therapists to coordinate comprehensive care
- Document patient assessments, treatment progress, and discharge plans accurately in the medical record
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe mobility strategies
- Participate in team huddles and contribute to a positive, patient-centered clinic culture
Qualifications
- Active Washington Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain state licensure
- Graduate degree from an accredited physical therapy program preferred (DPT preferred)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
- Prior experience in rehabilitation, outpatient, or similar settings preferred
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; graduation from an accredited PT program required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, and balance interventions
- Experience with assistive devices and durable medical equipment recommendations
- Skilled clinical documentation and familiarity with electronic medical records
- Ability to assess functional mobility and develop measurable goals
- Strong interpersonal skills for patient education and teamwork
