Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients while following established care plans
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses with accuracy and attention
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate safe, effective patient care
• Document patient status and care provided clearly and timely in the medical record
• Perform routine assessments and escalate changes in condition to the RN or provider
• Support patient and family education to encourage recovery and discharge readiness

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing (New Mexico license preferred or eligible to obtain)
• Minimum clinical experience as an LPN — confident in med administration and bedside care
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications a plus
• Ability to clear travel onboarding requirements (note: arrive 4-5 days before shift for clearance letter)
• Professional, dependable, and ready to join a collaborative care team

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and IV/line monitoring fundamentals
• Skilled in patient assessment, wound care, and vital sign interpretation
• Excellent communication and teamwork with nurses, providers, and families
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and timely documentation
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and maintain calm under pressure
