Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality physical therapy evaluations and deliver patient-centered treatment plans
• Use evidence-based interventions to restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve function
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive care
• Document patient progress clearly and timely in the patient record
• Educate patients and families on home programs, safe mobility, and injury prevention
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of care
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and facility policies while advocating for patients
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and help the clinic meet performance goals

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapy license in California (required)
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent PT degree (preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required or to be obtained upon hire)
• Comfortable working variable daytime schedules including weekends
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, patient-first mindset
• Previous outpatient or post-acute rehab experience is a strong plus

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in musculoskeletal evaluation, therapeutic exercise, and manual therapy techniques
• Proficient in gait training, balance training, and functional mobility interventions
• Strong clinical reasoning and ability to develop individualized care plans
• Good documentation practices and timely charting
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage caseloads efficiently
• Patient education and family/caregiver training to support recovery
