Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans that get patients moving toward meaningful goals
• Deliver hands-on and therapeutic exercise interventions to restore mobility, function, and independence
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
• Document progress accurately and timely in the medical record, communicating changes to the care team
• Educate patients and families on home programs, safety strategies, and prevention to support long-term wellness
• Support a positive patient experience by demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and clinical excellence

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license for West Virginia (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Clinical experience in inpatient/outpatient rehabilitation settings preferred
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with therapy outcomes and billing practices
• Ability to travel between Parkersburg and Willows as this is a split-site position

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred or Bachelor's/Master's in Physical Therapy with required state licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven skills in assessment, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy and balance/mobility training
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and timely documentation
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families and clinical teams
• Ability to prioritize caseloads, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing patient needs
• Knowledge of safety, infection control, and regulatory standards in rehabilitation
