Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy evaluation and treatment to patients in a rehabilitation setting
• Develop individualized care plans focused on functional outcomes and safe discharge
• Use therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and gait training to help patients regain independence
• Document patient progress and communicate goals clearly with the interdisciplinary team
• Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and injury prevention
• Collaborate with nursing and rehab staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Pennsylvania required
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred or equivalent clinical education
• Current BLS or CPR certification required
• Experience in rehabilitation or post-acute care preferred
• Ability to work a contract travel assignment and pass background and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master of Physical Therapy or equivalent considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional mobility training
• Proficiency with patient assessment, goal setting, and progress documentation
• Familiarity with common rehab diagnoses and post-acute protocols
• Comfortable collaborating in an interdisciplinary team environment
• Basic computer skills for electronic medical record documentation
