Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to residents during overnight shifts
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Monitor, assess and document patient status and changes in condition
• Collaborate with nurses, clinicians and support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Participate in care planning, handoffs and effective communication with families
• Maintain a safe environment and follow facility policies, infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in New Hampshire (required) or eligibility to obtain state licensure quickly
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, reliability, and a teamwork-first attitude

Education

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN diploma/certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Resident assessment, vital signs and basic nursing interventions
• Comfortable with electronic charting and shift handoffs
• Excellent communication, prioritization and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently overnight while escalating concerns appropriately
