Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, safe, and effective nursing care to residents
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
- Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes to the care team
- Document care activities clearly and thoroughly in the patient record
- Collaborate with nurses, aides, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
- Support resident comfort, dignity, and independence through person-centered care
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license in Maine (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Previous LPN experience preferred but new-to-practice LPNs are welcome to apply
- Local candidates only (position is local-only)
- Ability to work assigned evening/night shifts and every other weekend
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
- Comfortable with documentation and electronic health records
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care environment
- Compassionate bedside manner and resident-focused mindset
