Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality bedside nursing care during night shifts
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and monitor patient responses
- Assess, document and communicate changes in patient condition promptly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement and update care plans
- Perform safe patient transfers, wound care, and routine clinical procedures
- Float to other sites as needed to ensure continuity of care across locations
- Contribute to unit-based quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Comfortable with floating between nearby facilities as needed
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required, BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment during night shift care
- Medication administration, IV therapy, and basic wound care competence
- Proficient with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients in a busy setting
