Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents and patients
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, report changes promptly
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and update care plans
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications and follow-up
• Support admissions, transfers and discharges with professionalism and empathy
• Maintain organized, timely clinical documentation in the facility charting system

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in Maryland (must be current and in good standing)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or equivalent
• Ability to pass facility credentialing and background checks in a timely manner
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team
• Prior experience in a clinical nursing role is preferred but new grads with strong skills are welcome to apply

Education

• LPN: Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
• RN: ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program, depending on hire classification

Knowledge & Skills

• Competence in medication administration, wound care and basic procedures
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Clear verbal and written communication with patients, families and staff
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care environment
• Teamwork mindset and professional bedside manner
