Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to assigned residents
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
• Perform thorough assessments and document findings clearly in the medical record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support care plans and positive outcomes
• Monitor patient conditions, report changes promptly, and escalate when needed
• Educate patients and families on care, treatments, and discharge planning
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies at all times
• Support smooth shift handoffs and continuity of care through clear communication

Qualifications

• Active LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) in the U.S.; eligibility or ability to obtain Delaware licensure recommended
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from an accredited provider
• Valid professional ID, up-to-date vaccinations, and ability to pass background and drug screen
• Comfortable working nights and adaptable to changing patient needs
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program or equivalent practical nursing education

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid nursing assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Medication administration and documentation accuracy
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and charting
• Basic IV/medication pump knowledge where applicable
• Time management, prioritization, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting
• Patient/family education and empathetic bedside manner
