Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to geriatric residents, helping with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding and mobility while preserving dignity
• Monitor and record vital signs and report clinical changes to nursing staff promptly
• Document resident care accurately and thoroughly in the facility records
• Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Work collaboratively with the care team to implement individualized care plans

Qualifications

• Current GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification or equivalent
• CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Comfortable working night shifts and supporting older adult populations
• Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved GNA program preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience with activities of daily living (ADL) assistance and mobility support
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
• Familiarity with infection control practices and resident safety
• Compassionate patient interaction and effective communication with families and staff
• Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
