Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient condition with attention to detail and compassion
• Administer medications and treatments safely and per facility protocols
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans
• Provide patient and family education to support recovery and discharge goals
• Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient status and emergencies
• Advocate for patient needs and contribute to a culture of safety and quality

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Maryland or eligibility to obtain one quickly
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications encouraged
• Clinical nursing experience in acute care or similar settings preferred
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and care planning
• Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Infection control and safety protocols
• Effective patient and family education techniques
• Ability to prioritize, triage, and respond in fast-paced situations
