Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
• Assist with mobility and safe transfers while using proper body mechanics
• Take and record vital signs and observe for changes in residents' conditions
• Document care accurately and communicate observations to the nursing team
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Build trusting relationships with residents and their families to enhance quality of life

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable providing direct patient care and working as part of a collaborative team
• Ability to pass facility-required background checks and screenings
• Professional, compassionate attitude and strong communication skills

Education

• High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident hygiene
• Basic clinical skills: vital signs, transfers, feeding assistance
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
• Strong observation and documentation skills
• Good communication, time management, and teamwork
