Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients' conditions, using clinical judgment to prioritize care
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following facility policies
• Document patient care and progress in the electronic medical record clearly and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and adjust care plans
• Provide patient and family education with compassion and clarity
• Support admissions, discharges, and transitions of care to ensure smooth handoffs

Qualifications

• Current, active Washington RN or LPN license (RN preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications (ACLS, PALS) preferred when applicable
• Clinical experience in long-term care or similar settings preferred
• Ability to work an evening shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) and adapt to facility procedures
• Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN for RNs; LPN diploma or certificate for LPNs)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and care-planning skills
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and digital charting
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Ability to provide compassionate patient and family education
