Shift Type: Sunday-Saturday, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC (night), 13-week assignment
Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs and resident observations
- Assist with safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and staff
- Document care in charts and communicate changes promptly to the nursing team
- Maintain a clean and safe environment while following infection control policies
- Support residents emotional wellbeing and preserve dignity and independence
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and family members to help implement person-centered care plans
Qualifications
- Valid CNA certification or T-CNA classification as indicated by the facility
- Current state registry in New Mexico or eligibility to register
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility health requirements
- Current immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
- Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus
- BLS/CPR certification preferred where applicable
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited CNA program or enrollment/completion of T-CNA class
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care skills and hands-on experience with ADLs
- Clear communication and teamwork to coordinate resident care
- Basic documentation skills and attention to detail
- Time management and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
- Understanding of infection control and safety best practices
- Compassion, patience, and respect for resident dignity
