Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the assigned day shift
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Perform thorough clinical assessments and monitor patient status
• Document care and observations clearly and timely in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments and follow-up
• Support admissions, discharges and safe patient transfers with attention to detail

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license (or eligible) in the state of practice
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS or other certifications as required by facility
• Valid healthcare provider credentials and compliance with facility onboarding requirements
• Professional, compassionate demeanor with strong communication and teamwork skills
• Prior acute care or facility experience preferred; new graduates may inquire

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, LPN diploma or BSN)
• BSN preferred where applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and patient monitoring
• Medication administration and IV/infusion familiarity
• Accurate charting and electronic medical record navigation
• Infection control and safety practices
• Strong communication, prioritization and time-management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced care environment
