Shift Type: Night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (overnight), days vary (confirm schedule with recruiter)

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside nursing care to residents at Bear Canyon Rehabilitation Center
- Administer medications and follow physician orders accurately and safely
- Perform focused patient assessments and report changes to the care team
- Document care and interventions clearly in the facility electronic health record
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and safe transitions
- Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain infection control standards and ensure a safe environment for patients
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential in good standing
- Completion of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required or obtained upon hire
- Previous LPN experience in long-term care, rehab, or acute care preferred
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by facility
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN / Practical Nursing program
- High school diploma or GED required
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic pharmacology knowledge
- Skilled in vital signs, wound care basics, and ADL support
- Accurate charting and documentation practices, familiarity with EHR systems
- Infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory awareness
- Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical environment
