Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient condition, making timely clinical decisions
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Document patient care clearly and thoroughly in the electronic chart
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Provide patient and family education with empathy and clarity
• Respond to changes in patient status and escalate appropriately
• Support unit workflow and mentor other staff when appropriate

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — RN preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; additional certifications a plus
• Previous acute care nursing experience preferred
• Ability to obtain Washington state licensure or have compact license as applicable
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN for RN; Diploma/Practical Nursing program for LPN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with charting in electronic health record systems
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
• Patient and family teaching with clear, compassionate communication
