Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients following care plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor and document patient status, reporting changes promptly to the care team
• Support wound care and basic clinical procedures as appropriate to scope of practice
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care
• Educate patients and families with clear, respectful communication to support recovery and comfort

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license in good standing (current and unencumbered)
• Completion of an accredited practical nurse program
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Strong clinical judgment, professionalism and a patient-centered attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program and high school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid medication administration and documentation skills
• Basic patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
• Infection control and safe clinical practices
• Clear communication, teamwork and time management
• Comfort using electronic medical records and standard nursing documentation
