Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for assigned caseloads
• Perform timely assessments, develop care plans, and document outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans
• Escalate clinical concerns promptly to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS or PALS as required by unit
• Current, unrestricted license to practice in New Mexico or ability to obtain one
• Comfort working 12+ hour day shifts and adapting to facility processes
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN). BSN preferred but not required.

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• IV therapy and wound care experience as applicable to unit
• Clear, timely charting and handoff communication
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients safely
