Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care for residents, including assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist nursing staff with routine clinical tasks such as vital signs and specimen collection as directed
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns promptly to the nursing team
• Document resident care accurately and timely in the facility charting system
• Support a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by facility
• Comfortable performing physical aspects of resident care and mobility assistance
• Excellent communication skills and a team-focused attitude
• CPR/BLS certification preferred where applicable

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient-centered care and dignity-focused assistance
• ADLs support including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
• Safe transfer and mobility techniques
• Clear, respectful communication with residents, families, and staff
• Time management and reliability in a fast-paced care setting
