Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the night shift
• Assess patient status, monitor vitals, and respond to changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Support patient and family education and discharge planning

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (NC preferred) or eligibility to obtain NC licensure
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred where applicable
• Clinical experience in acute care, long-term care, or related setting preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Ability to work nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) and adapt to unit needs
• Professional, dependable, and patient-focused attitude

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) for RNs
• Vocational nursing diploma or equivalent for LPN candidates

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of nursing assessment and documentation best practices
• Skilled in IV medication administration and common nursing procedures
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Basic familiarity with regulatory and safety standards in healthcare
