Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Take and document vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility safely
• Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Communicate clearly with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Accurately complete documentation and charting in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (T-CNA or state-equivalent) required
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to work the assigned Thursday-Friday-Saturday day shifts
• Comfortable with 12+ hour shifts and lifting/transferring residents as needed
• Pass required background checks, drug screen, and health screenings
• Previous experience in long-term care or rehab settings is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of basic nursing care and ADLs
• Skilled in safe patient handling and mobility assistance
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to follow care plans and report changes accurately
• Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks under pressure
• Team-player attitude with empathy for geriatric and rehab populations
