Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents according to care plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor and document vital signs, observations, and resident responses
• Communicate changes in condition to the care team and assist with care coordination
• Support activities of daily living and promote resident dignity and independence
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe care environment
• Contribute to accurate, timely charting in the electronic medical record

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the state where you will practice or ability to obtain one promptly
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willing to obtain prior to start
• Previous LPN experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Strong clinical assessment skills and excellent communication with residents and team members
• Ability to pass required background checks and drug screens for travel assignments

Education

• Diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing (or equivalent vocational training)

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Resident assessment and recognition of subtle changes in condition
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
• Infection control, wound care basics, and standards of nursing practice
• Effective teamwork, time management, and clear communication skills
