Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for assigned residents and patients
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes to the care team
• Document nursing interventions, observations, and patient responses in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate high-quality care
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up needs
• Support facility quality and safety initiatives through best-practice nursing care

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN or RN license (appropriate to the role) — New Mexico licensure or compact licensure as applicable
• Current clinical competency in nursing fundamentals and medication administration
• Travel nursing experience is a plus and will help you hit the ground running
• Able to work scheduled 12.5-hour day shifts on Sunday, Monday and Saturday
• Professional, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills

Education

• LPN: Vocational/Practical Nursing diploma or certificate
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing assessment, documentation, and care planning
• Skilled in medication administration and clinical monitoring
• Ability to prioritize patient needs and manage time effectively during long shifts
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with electronic health records and standard infection control practices
