Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the evening shift
• Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and communicate changes to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Document patient care and progress clearly in the electronic charting system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
• Support residents and families with education, empathy, and clear communication
• Maintain facility standards for infection control, safety, and quality

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (WA licensure required or compact privileges as applicable)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Previous clinical experience preferred; LPN or RN evening/long-term care experience is a plus
• Ability to pass facility background checks and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, diploma, or LPN program). BSN preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and monitoring skills for adult populations
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
• Ability to prioritize tasks during busy evening shifts
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff
