Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on the rehab floor
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support recovery goals
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and smooth handoffs between shifts

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license valid in Maryland
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS or other certifications a plus
• Comfortable working in a rehabilitation/long-term care setting
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Professional, dependable, and patient-focused attitude

Education

• LPN: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• RN: Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program (BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medication administration and nursing fundamentals
• Skilled in patient assessment, documentation, and care planning
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
• Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Comfortable working with a multidisciplinary care team
