Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care and advocate for patient needs throughout your shift
• Perform thorough assessments and document changes in patient conditions accurately
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with orders and facility policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and discharge goals
• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and documentation standards
• Triage and prioritize care in a fast-paced environment with clinical judgment and compassion

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license (New Mexico license required or compact/reciprocal as applicable)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; advanced certifications encouraged
• Prior acute care or relevant clinical experience preferred
• Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• Nursing diploma, ADN, or BSN (ADN/BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency with medication administration and electronic charting
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively
• Collaborative approach to working with interdisciplinary teams
• Basic understanding of infection control and safety protocols
