Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies
• Assess patient condition and implement appropriate nursing interventions
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient plans
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes clearly in the chart
• Respond effectively to emergencies and escalating patient needs
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and safe transitions

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (New Mexico license or compact state privileges preferred)
• Minimum clinical experience as a registered nurse (travel RN experience a plus)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS and PALS preferred where applicable
• Current immunizations and health screening as required by facility
• Ability to pass facility background checks and credentialing within required timeframe

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Proficiency with medication administration and IV therapies
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to prioritize and manage care in a fast-paced setting
• Comfort with working nights and adapting to changing patient acuity
