Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with facility protocols
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Perform thorough patient assessments and update care plans based on findings
• Document patient care, treatments, and observations in the chart in a timely manner
• Communicate clearly with interdisciplinary team members and families to coordinate care
• Adhere to infection control practices and facility safety standards

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN or RN license (able to practice in New Mexico or obtain compact licensure as required)
• BLS certification required; ACLS or specialty certifications preferred when applicable
• Prior experience in a similar clinical setting as a licensed nurse
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required immunizations
• Comfort working independently while integrating with the local care team

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN or nursing program (LPN diploma or RN ADN/BSN as applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and IV/oral therapy knowledge
• Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and timely documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Basic wound care, ADL support, and monitoring of vital signs
