Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and document residents' condition accurately and promptly
- Support safe and comfortable transfers and mobility assistance
- Collaborate with nurses and the care team to deliver person-centered care
- Communicate clearly with residents and families to promote dignity and trust
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
Qualifications
- Current CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification required; T-CNA on file as listed
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
- Previous experience as a CNA preferred; strong resident care skills expected
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in personal care and assisting with ADLs
- Comfortable with documentation and basic charting
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
- Dependable time management and ability to work an evening shift
