Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, supporting dignity and comfort
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Document care and observations clearly in the resident record
• Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver resident-centered care
• Follow infection control and facility safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification; LNA or equivalent required
• Eligible for or holding state certification for New Hampshire (and Vermont if applicable)
• Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift and every other weekend as required
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved nursing assistant training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven resident care skills including ADLs and mobility assistance
• Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Infection control best practices
• Good time management and the ability to prioritize during busy shifts
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents and families
