Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor patient condition, report changes, and collaborate with the care team
• Document patient care and clinical observations in the electronic health record
• Provide compassionate patient and family education and support
• Assist with care planning and transitions to ensure continuity
• Follow facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) as applicable
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
• Valid nursing license for Maryland or compact state privileges as appropriate
• Professional attitude, strong communication skills, and a teamwork mindset
• Clinical competency relevant to acute care settings; traveler experience a plus

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program appropriate to licensure (LPN diploma or RN associate/BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Medication administration and IV/fluid management knowledge
• Electronic health record documentation
• Patient education and discharge planning
• Strong communication, triage, and teamwork skills
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
