Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, eating, mobility, and toileting needs
• Monitor and document patient status and report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to reduce risk of injury
• Maintain a clean, organized patient environment and adhere to infection control practices
• Communicate clearly and courteously with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in good standing (state certification required or eligible)
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire if required by facility
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care and follow care plans
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Previous CNA experience preferred but motivated, dependable candidates are encouraged to apply

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved nurse aide training program (per state requirements)

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
• Infection control and safe patient handling practices
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Time management, teamwork, and adaptability in a clinical setting
• Familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn facility systems
