Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a rehabilitation setting
• Assess patient conditions and implement individualized care plans with attention and empathy
• Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient response
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate safe transitions of care
• Document patient care, progress, and changes clearly and timely
• Educate patients and families to promote recovery, independence, and safety

Qualifications

• Current RN license in New Mexico or compact licensure as applicable
• Active BLS certification; ACLS or other specialty certifications preferred
• Minimum clinical experience in med-surg, rehab, or acute care recommended
• Ability to perform safe patient handling and follow facility protocols
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, team-oriented approach

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and critical thinking for patient care decisions
• Medication administration and IV management
• Charting and electronic medical record familiarity
• Infection control and safety best practices
• Effective teamwork, time management, and patient education skills
